Mindful Walking & Yoga Retreat

I am delighted to announce that I am teaming up with Frankie Sikes of WalkingInSpirit to co-host a 7-day, mindful walking & yoga retreat in September 2023. The retreat will include four mindful, silent walks in the stunning forests and mountains of Somiedo Natural Park, Asturias, Spain, with gentle yin yoga sessions before & after each walk. Accommodation will be provided at the wonderful La Pinietsa rural apartments in the heart of Somiedo, western Europe’s most intact natural ecosystem.

Frankie has been leading walking tours in the area for many years. I will be supporting the walks with yin yoga sessions. Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga, built from the foundational principles of traditional Chinese medicine and, through longer held asanas, it works to restore the healthy flow of Qi in our bodies. By stretching deeply into each pose, we open up any blockages in order to release your energy to flow freely. The health benefits can be truly transformational:
